Brightworks Makerspace is a community-centered space where creativity, learning, and connection come together. We exist to give people access to the tools, knowledge, and mentorship needed to explore ideas, build skills, and imagine new possibilities.

Through hands-on educational programs, workshops, and open access to fabrication tools and technology, we support learning across STEM and the creative arts. Our work is rooted in removing barriers, encouraging curiosity, and fostering lifelong learning, whether someone is discovering engineering for the first time or developing skills that lead to future careers.

At its core, Brightworks is about building a place for community: a shared workshop, classroom, and gathering space where people of all backgrounds can collaborate, create, and support one another. Guided by dedicated board members and strengthened by partnerships, we believe creativity and access to technology should be a shared resource, not a privilege, and that strong communities are built when people are empowered to make, learn, and grow together.
